The main character in the book I Never Promised You a Rose Garden is Deborah Blau. If I were to go through Deborah's trash, I might find many uncanny things. In the beginning of the book Deborah attempts suicide, she cuts her wrists and enough blood spills to fill half a cup. I would think that this would be one of the many items in her trash can that have to do with her failed suicide attempts. In chapter two Joanne Greenberg wrote, “The half cup of blood on the bathroom floor had given all their nebulous feelings and vague fears weight, and she had gone to the doctor the next day.” After having read that, I would say you might find the cup of blood spilled in her trash can.…
When one has bipolar, they can lead a normal lifestyle for the most part. People with this disorder have really good days and horrible days. Some say living with this disorder is like a rollercoaster, you keep going up and up until you reach the top then you crash down really dramatically.
