Area paths allow you to group work items by team, product, or feature area. Iteration paths allow you to group work into sprints, milestones, or other event-specific or time-related period. Both these fields allow you to define a hierarchy of paths.
Open the team configuration and assign the default and additional Area Path (s) to each team. Follow the steps provided later in this article: Open team settings and Set team default area path (s). Assign the Area Path of work items to an area path you defined. Use bulk modify to modify several work items at once.
From the web portal, choose Project settings to open project administration pages. Then choose Areas. You can list the area paths defined for a project using az boards area project list. To get started, see Get started with Azure DevOps CLI. depth: Optional. Depth of child nodes to be listed. Example: --depth 3.
You can also create a hierarchy of area paths to support sub-areas, up to 14 levels deep. To perform the following tasks, you must define area paths: You can define your area path structure and assign area paths to teams. Or, you can add a team and create the area path with the team name at that time.
Area F means that area as is hachured in green and shown as Area F on the map in Part A of Schedule 1.

Area paths allow you to group work items by team, product, or feature area. Iteration paths allow you to group work into sprints, milestones, or other event-specific or time-related period. Both these fields allow you to define a hierarchy of paths.
The Area Path and Iteration Path fields, data type=TreePath, consist of multiple node items separated by the backslash () character. Minimize the names of nodes and make sure you conform to the following restrictions when you're adding child nodes.
While you can assign the same area path to more than one team, this can cause problems if two teams claim ownership over the same set of work items. To learn more, see About boards and Kanban, Limitations of multi-team Kanban board views.
Modern digital cameras have a bare minimum of 9 AF points. Some cameras like the D800, e.g., has 51 AF points to work with. These points look for contrast in the image and when they do find contrast they lock focus on the point. AF area mode basically gives you a range as to where the camera is likely to focus on.
Almost all camera systems have the center AF point as the most sensitive, with some cameras having cross-type AF point at this position. This is the recommended AF point to start tracking a subject when it is moving fast and erratically.
All nonzero areas have to latch on, grab on, attach to the backbone. It is named appropriately, Area 0 is always the backbone, you can't make any other area the backbone. It is 0. And then you've got to have all your nonzero areas fit into that.
Well, you know it's sitting on the edge of Area 1 and Area 2. No, it's not an area border router. You have to have one interface in Area 0 to be an area border router. And I used to think, by the way, that you could, in fact, get traffic from two different non-backbone areas directly; and you can't do that, okay.
You wouldn't want to have certain portions of a summary address scattered between multiple areas.
