Adult 8-Hour Safe Driving Practices Course Calendar The 8-hour class is taught in four 2-hour classes, Session #1 – #4. You can take the classes in any order, but you must attend all four different sessions.
Then Final 8 Hrs Safe Driving and Drug/Alcohol Test, 1 Through 10. This course is given normally on Saturday from 9 am to 1pm part 1 (four hours.) Continued by part 2 on the following Saturdays. Also on Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm part 1 (four hours.) Continuing on Thursday from 5pm to 9pm followed by a ten questions test.

Note: A person may make no more than five driving school/traffic school elections throughout their driver license lifetime duration.
Points will NOT be added to your driver license record, adjudication of guilt is withheld, safe driver status is maintained if applicable, and the fine could be reduced. You may not make an election under this subsection if you have made this election in the preceding 12 months.

The 8 hour driving course is offered two ways; as a Traditional Classroom (In Person) course at our Tampa Center, at the Orlando location near the UCF Campus and in Kissimmee, or as an Online Class (if permitted by the court).

The total tuition for the 8 Hour Driving Course in the classroom is $70.00. The tuition includes the course, classroom materials, all State of Florida fees, certificate processing and your certificate. Need an 8 Hour 'In Person' Traffic School Class to satisfy a court order? Our 8 hour Defensive Driving School (DDS) course is a Florida Certified Traffic School class. It is an 8 hour course that is typically court ordered by a judge as part of a sentencing judgment, but can sometimes be taken as an "election" (see below).
The 8 hour DDS traffic school class is available each weekend in a Classroom at our Orlando location near the UCF Campus, our Kissimmee location, or at the Tampa Center location. We also offer the course in Orlando and Tampa on weekdays. (See Schedules ). The 8 Hour traffic school course is completed in one day at all of our locations.
The 8 hour driving course is divided into multiple sessions and topics. Sessions are 50 minutes in length with a 10 minute break once an hour.
