Are there refunds for the online rug training program?

Course and exam enrolment. What you need to do – in short: Before the course unit begins, complete the compulsory registration for course units via ProgRESS (including your thesis), and you will be automatically registered for the exam. If you did not pass the course after taking the exam, then you will be automatically enrolled for the resit.

The Rug Cleaning Technicians course covers natural (wool, silk, cotton, linen, coir, sisal) and synthetic (rayon, nylon, polyester, acrylic, olefin) fibers, weaving, hand-knotting and tufting; dyeing; rug types and identification; cleaning techniques ranging from minimum-moisture to total-immersion; fringe cleaning, blocking and minor repairs.

This course is tutored around the world by Ruth ‘Rug Lady’ Travis, WoolSafe North America Director or in the UK by Paul Pearce. Demand will be very high and places are limited so please book your place early to avoid disappointment. The course is open to everyone and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

A. Before every block

You must register for every course unit via ProgRESS (this includes your thesis, which also counts as a course unit). You can enroll for a maximum of 4 courses per block. If you wish to take more than 4 courses, please ask permission from your programme coordinator.

B. In week 5 of the block

In this week, you should check and/or update your exam registrations in ProgRESS.#N#You are personally responsible for doing this. After this week, you will be not be able to change anything and will have to comply with the official Board of Examiners procedure.

C. After the regular exams: registering for resits

The following applies to Semester 1A:#N#The Faculty will automatically register you for the resit of a particular course unit if you registered for its regular exam but did not pass it.#N#No resits are officially scheduled for this period.
