Course Description

This 4 day USCG, MCA & Marshall Islands Approved Course includes theory and practical training and assessment utilizing MPT’s RHIB’s and various Survival Craft including the new MPT Waterside Lifeboat Facility.

Required Materials

Passport (ID), paper, pen, highlighter,bathing suit/shorts,hat,towel and sunscreen. Candidates taking this course are required to bring the following clothing for the practical lifeboat launching assessments: long Pants and sturdy closed toed shoes or equivalent.

Entry Requirements

Before commencing training, trainees must be at least 16 years of age and have received approved or recognised training in Personal Survival Techniques or equivalent.

Eligibility

Officers, Cadets and Ratings having 12 months sea service (or) 6 months sea service with approved Pre-sea Training. (Proof of sea service required).

In compliance with the State directives and as per DGS Order 17 of 2021, the Certificate Validity will be 18 months

Why do I need to have a PSCRB Training?

It is part of a mandatory seafarer training course when he is assigned to emergency duties. Thus, if you’re just starting out, then you can’t possibly have this certificate.
