Is a 3-year diploma equivalent to a degree? According to the UGC, the diploma is a course of 3 years that can be done after 10th. Graduation is a course with the scheme of 10+2+3 whereas a Diploma from a polytechnic is of the scheme 10+3. So, a diploma is not at all equivalent to a graduation degree.
