What is a jet orientation course?

What is the difference between MCC and APS MCC?
The regular MCC-course typically contains 20 hours of flight instruction in an approved simulator, while the new APS MCC contains 40 hours. All the simulator training will be perform at Full Flight Simulators level D, the maximum certification available.
What is an APS MCC?
The Airline Pilot Standard MCC (APS MCC) is an enhanced MCC that trains pilots in multi-crew competencies to airline standards. It is designed to give new pilots all the knowledge and skills necessary to pass an airline assessment and to be able to adapt easily to a modern airline working environment.
What subjects are needed to become a pilot in South Africa?
In South Africa there are currently no compulsory subject requirements, or minimum mark requirements to start training as a pilot. It is, however, strongly recommended that you do maths, science, English and geography at the highest possible level, as these will definitely help with the theoretical exams.
