The written test consists of 25 true/false and multiple choice questions. A student must score a 70 or higher on the written test to pass. The test is not hard if a person pays attention in class. We will cover everything thoroughly.
It is not a difficult test. However, passing the does requires the student to demonstrate reasonable shooting ability, safe gun handling and familiarity with loading and safety procedures. The actual course of fire sequence is 20 shots at 3 yards, 20 shots at 7 yards and 10 shots at 15 yards.
