Supplementary examinations may be granted provided you received a sub-minimum of 40% in the examination. You cannot apply for a supplementary examination. Some modules do not make provision for supplementary examinations – this information will be included in your Tutorial Letters 101.
What Happens if You Fail a Module at University? Normally students are allowed one retake of failed modules.
24.3 A qualification is passed “with distinction” when a student has: 24.3. 1 passed all modules for the qualification at Unisa; and 24.3. 2 passed all final level modules at the first attempt; and 24.3. 3 attained an overall average of 75% in the qualification.
According to university policy you need a sub-minimum of 40% in the examination before your year mark is taken into consideration. This course is a continuation of ECP 211, with reinforcement and application of topics previously covered, such as airway and breathing management skills, cardiac assessment and management, and the assessment and management of a medical patient. This course will also introduce and reinforce assessment and management of pediatric emergencies, obstetrics emergencies, and traumatic emergencies.

ACLS covers course topics of advanced cardiac life support assessment and management of the patients with acute cardiac conditions including cardiac arrest, tachycardia, bradycardia, stroke, and acute coronary syndrome.
The clinical and field internship experience allows the students to integrate knowledge and skills from the classroom setting into actual patient care in the hospital and field domain. Students are expected to complete their clinical (in in-hospital) experience in anticipation of starting their internship. Students will continue to interact with hospital staff in clinical areas such as Pediatrics, OBGYN, ICU, CICU, Behavioral, OR, and ER. Students also continue ambulance ride ride-alongs with an area of focus specific of advance life support.
ECP Initiation. The initiation of an ECP begins at the government’s request unless it’s an unsolicited ECP from a contractor. Since most ECPs occur in a sole source environment, the initiation of an ECP should be a well-planned and coordinated effort between the government and contractor.
There are two (2) types of ECP’s classifications: Minor (Class II): An ECP proposing a change to approved configuration documentation for which the Government is the CDCA or that has been included in the contractor SOW by the tasking activity and which is not a Class I.
Approval of the ECP data delivery required by CDRL/DD Form 1423 signifies only that the ECP satisfies the requirements of the ECP DID and is considered acceptable for government processing.
The overall purpose of the Lead Instructor Endorsement is to assure the individual understands the Montana laws, rules and regulations governing the offering of ECP initial courses of instruction, understands the purpose and requirements regarding refreshers (all levels), understands the importance of "accountability and responsibility", and provides the student an opportunity to be educated, tested and perform medical care and procedures safely to the citizens of Montana.
Lead Instructor is an endorsement which indicates the endorsed licensee has attended a board-approved instructor training program and is authorized to offer and conduct ECP courses. A Lead Instructor is also permitted to proctor practical and alternative written examinations.
As a new member your first-year membership will cost $52 minus 25 percent for a fee of $39. In subsequent years your fee will fall under the Family Membership fee of $26. Be sure to have your profile linked to your husband’s as the dues notice is sent to the Full or Family Head member.
An Associate Member is an individual under the age of 19 who has successfully completed the requirements to become a member. When the Associate attains the age of 19, they can apply to become a Full or Family Member. How can I become a Life Member?
