Canyon course has better holes, better views, better scenery, and overall is the much better of the 2 courses at Mountain Dell. Don't bother playing Lake course, just go Canyon. A few holes can be challenging on the back nine, but still a fun course.

The Canyon course (@6400 yards from the blue tees) is the more challenging of the two, but the Lake course has more interesting hole designs with nice risk/reward options. I would recommend you play both courses.
