Overview. The NCCC Animal Management degree program is primarily a zookeeper and aquarist training program, allowing graduates to work in public zoos and aquariums, but also offers students the ability to work in other non-zoo settings such as shelters, sanctuaries, and even veterinary offices as veterinary assistants.
How long does it take to become an animal manager?
The majority of our students take a two-year programme completing an Extended Diploma in Animal Management which is equivalent to three A-levels or a Diploma in Animal Management which is the equivalent to two A-levels. Students are able to develop practical skills in animal husbandry and gain underpinning knowledge of animal-related topics.
