Library etiquette

I just want to put this out there, but has anyone else noticed how the standard, unspoken rules of quiet etiquette at the library are just not being followed anymore since we've returned to on-campus? Several of my friends and I (all upper classmen) have noticed that every time we use the library, both Dirac and Strozier, the floors considered to be strictly quiet (lowkey floors 2-4 at Stroz) are way louder, especially floor 2 of Strozier? And students are taking phone calls on these floors too? It's just bizarre and really frustrating, and I was wondering why this is happening so much.

Has anyone had this happen to them?

Last night I was walking alone near the Psychology Department and I was approached by a person with very long hair and a Friend's t-shirt. In the beginning, it was a friendly talk but then they started telling me how they was very depressed and that they wanted to commit the Sword because them mom didn't accept that they was gay and trans.
