Times yes, players/rounds, no. 4 rounds per time available, so in your scenario 500 rounds is the theoretical cap. In reality it's much closer to 200-225/day for the busiest courses because perfect occupancy never happens, but even that gets sloooow. 6 minute tee times are a nightmare though. Average hole will take 13 min. That's a sloooow round.

2 percentOnly about 2 percent of all golfers ever break 80, which generally is considered the Holy Grail of scoring. To legitimately break 80 — no improved lies; no 3-foot gimmes; no free drop from out of bounds — is to breathe the rarefied air of good, if not great golf.Aug 13, 2013
If you're below 85 you're a pretty good golfer and if you're above 90 then you're likely a beginner. What Is A Good Score In Golf. Depending on their experience, any score can be good for a certain golfer. A good score, for example, could be 115. If a golfer with no handicap who had only played a couple rounds their entire life went out and shot a 115, it would be a good score.
Since the majority of golfers are not scratch golfers, the slope rating gives an indication as to how a bogey golfer would shoot on a certain course in comparison to a scratch golfer’s score.
The course rating is the expected score for a scratch golfer (one who shoots par) at each set of tees. This can be found on the scorecard or online. On the left side of the scorecard next to the set of tee box colors a number is usually shown. Each tee will have a different course rating.

When it comes to golf courses, they come in 2 different sizes. You have a full sized golf 18 hole course and a shorter course consisting of only 9 holes. Professional and intermediate players will always play on a 18 hole course. Each round on an 18 hole course stretches out at a longer distance.
These courses contain 9 holes and are much shorter than a full 18 hole course. This means each hole requires a maximum of only 3 shots to reach par. At least 2 of the holes in a 9 hole course will offer a hole in one chance. All golfers look forward to scoring a hole in one; especially beginners.

While the average weight of a golf cart can vary from around 500 to 600 pounds, this does not account for the weight of acid batteries, which can add another 400 to 500 pounds. So, say a cart with batteries and one set of clubs is 1,000 pounds. Add one rider that weighs 150 pounds, and you have 1,150 pounds in total.
It is an unfortunate reality that some putting greens have one area of approach for golfers walking on and off the putting green. Following the previous example, we have 200 golfers with an average weight of 150 pounds walking off the cart path, across the rough, through the collar and onto a green.
There are ways to mitigate the turfgrass wear and damage caused by traffic. One option is to limit the number of cart rounds allowed daily. Courses can also enact cart-path-only rules throughout the winter or on certain days of the week.

The Golf 2020 report states: Contrary to belief, golf is fun, young and cool. There are 6.3 million millennials (ages 18-34) playing 14.7 rounds or more than 93 million rounds of golf annually. They represent roughly 25% of the golf population and spend about $5 billion annually in equipment, merchandise and playing fees.
The “3 M’s” (Millennials, Minorities and Moms) that golf so badly needs have little interest in dress codes, cell phone bans and overly oppressive rules and procedures. They just want to have a good time. Millennials, in particular have demonstrated a willingness to spend, but not when they’re overwhelmed with rules.
The Dictionary of Real Estate Appraisal defines economic feasibility as: A condition that exists when prospective earning power is sufficient to pay a requisite rate of return on the completion cost (including indirect costs). In other words, the estimated value at completion equals or exceeds the estimated cost.
The question is not whether golf is expensive, but rather whether it’s too cheap. It often seems like competitive market pressures motivate golf courses to provide the product (golf) for less than it costs to produce, obviously a recipe for disaster.
