The ACT math tests your knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and basic statistics. This course provides you with a complete math review of all these subjects. You'll also learn how to use your time wisely so that you finish as many math questions as possible in the 60 minutes the ACT gives you for the math test.
Note: In alignment with the California State University (CSU) system, SDSU will not require or consider SAT or ACT exam scores from first-year applicants for spring 2021, fall 2021 and spring 2022 entry. Scores may be requested post-admission to assist with course placement.
Dual credit courses are offered by South Dakota State University’s world renowned faculty members and follow SDSU’s processes for admissions, registration, billing and grade reporting. Special Study (299, 499, 599) These courses provide opportunity for individual study of a subject not offered in the regular curriculum. The student does this outside of the classroom and must secure the consent of an instructor to supervise the study before registering for the course.

All California resident first-time freshmen admitted to San Diego State University who do not demonstrate college readiness in written communication and /or mathematics will be required to enroll in the Freshman Academic Success Track (FAST) program in the summer prior to fall enrollment. All students attending a CSU who do not demonstrate college readiness are required to participate in Early Start or a summer program such as FAST to better prepare them in written communication and/or mathematics.
Transfer admission decisions are based on self-reported information. Admission is provisional pending verification of the self-reported information on the applicant’s Cal State Apply and supplemental applications using the official transcript submitted to the Office of Admissions. Offers of admission will be rescinded if the GPA, completed courses, or course grades are lower than what is reported on the applications or if the student misses any admission deadlines.
Second Bachelor’s Degree. San Diego State University is only accepting applications for a second bachelor’s degree in nursing. To be eligible for admission to the second bachelor’s degree in nursing, students must meet the following minimum CSU eligibility requirements and SDSU requirements.
