Excellent school

This is an excellent opportunity to share your experience and make a difference in the lives of students. Decent support structure. You will work the hours that a class is scheduled for, and be compensated for that. Expect to work additional hours for which you aren't compensated for grading, curriculum development, etc.

One of the better schools for adjuncts but you can't get out of the adjunct pool

The adjunct culture is good. They have an organization that helps adjuncts feel more integrated and let their voices be heard in many ways. But, just as it is just about everywhere, being an adjunct provides no benefits and there is a slim to no chance for being promoted out of the adjunct pool, especially if you're older than 30.

Amazing Learning Environment and Experience on Tax Preparing

I first took a college course on Preparing Taxes for a semester we learned about everything we needed to know to pass the IRS "Volunteer Standards of Conduct Exam", "Health Savings Accounts (HSA) Exam" and "Intake/Interview and Quality Review Exam".

Great college atmosphere for a community college

Worked in the Learning Opportunity Center and in the Math Help center as a math tutor. Students were eager to learn and gave positive feedback to instructors and staff. Great learning environment.

Great work environment

People who work at state schools are grossly underpaid. I do enjoy my colleagues, and my supervisor is a good guy, and is supportive. We are all clearly there for the students

It was fun but wasn't enough

I genuinely enjoyed my time working at Front Range however the compensation for a work-study was terrible. I was overqualified for the job because of my previous experience in retail but there is no option for additional compensation or any health coverage.

Great place and department to work

I worked in the testing center. I really enjoyed the management. I also liked the culture and people I worked with. Everyone is flexible and helpful!!
