New York State Residents: If you are a resident of New York State, you need to obtain a pistol permit in order to obtain a handgun. You must be at least 21 years old and complete a Basic Pistol Safety Course administrated by live instruction. An online course is not accepted.
You only need to attend one of the 3-hour online session listed below to apply for your New York State Pistol Permit (NY Concealed Carry Permit) in Erie, Niagara, Genesee and Ontario counties. This is a live class that you will be able to participate in. The class is taught using the Zoom professional platform.
