When a student's cumulative (overall) and current (most recent term) grade point averages are 2.0 or better, that student is in good academic standing. If either the cumulative or current G.P.A.
Taking an incomplete in a college course is exactly just what it sounds like: Your participation in the class is incomplete. You were unable to finish the required coursework by the time the semester or quarter concluded.

There are four progressive levels of academic status: Good Standing. Academic Warning. Academic Probation. Academic Suspension.
3.7 or aboveLike high school, a good college GPA is generally 3.7 or above, and ideally higher in your major classes. Graduate schools in particular tend to weight GPAs more heavily than test scores.
The idea behind the “incomplete” grade, at least at the undergraduate level, is to allow students who had some sort of real personal emergency a chance to finish a course once the emergency has passed.
Incomplete Courses The following are not considered passing grades: F, NC, WU, or W. Incomplete (I) grades are not included in the GPA calculation and are considered a noncompletion of attempted coursework until the grade is replaced with a permanent grade and academic progress can be re-evaluated.
If you fail a class, you'll get a 0 on your transcript — and that can bring down your GPA. Failed classes count toward your GPA, though some colleges do not count pass/fail classes in your GPA calculation. If you get an F, you still have to pay for the class without receiving any credit toward your degree.
RVCC is an open access college. Anyone with a high school degree or equivalency is welcome and SAT and ACT exams are not required for admission. Enrolling in classes as a new student is a five step process.
To change your password when you are on campus please login to any of the College computers and press Ctrl+Alt+Delete. A small menu will appear and one of the options will be "Change Password." Click on "Change Password" and then follow the new password requirements specified above for creating a new password.
