Program Description

The 240-hour clock hour Commercial Vehicle Operator (CVO) Program gives students the necessary skills to begin driving a truck professionally. The program includes hands-on training and the CVO knowledge needed to properly and safely operate a truck.

Admissions requirements

Applicants must have a valid Louisiana Driver’s License and be a minimum age of 18. During the first week students must complete a Physical Exam, pass a Drug Test and obtain a Louisiana CDL Permit. AccuPlacer testing is not required.

Cost

The estimated program cost per semester (subject to change) is $5700 (based on the highest credential available).

Employment Requirements

Employment Requirements: Students must pass the Louisiana CDL Class A examination. Graduates less than 21 are limited to in-state driving

Gainful Employment Disclosure

Students enrolled in the Commercial Vehicle Operator program are not eligible for US Department of Education Title IV financial aid.
