Failure to complete the quiz for any of your courses could result in a reduction/cancellation of your financial aid.
You are required to complete the Mandatory Course Entry Quiz for ALL courses. The disbursement of several Title IV funds (examples include Direct Loans, Pell Grants, SEOG, and Federal Work Study) will be restricted to courses where your course entry is confirmed.

When all of your Course Entry Quizzes for the term have expired, they will appear in the lower right hand corner of your Canvas Dashboard. Course Entry Quizzes which you have not completed will have a RED "X" next to them.
These funds cannot be disbursed for enrollment in courses where your course entry is unconfirmed. You will confirm your course entry by completing the Mandatory Course Entry Quiz. The quiz will be available on Canvas during the designated drop/add period for each course.
If a student misses the first day of class for any reason, the student may be administratively withdrawn from the course. No student may attend a course for which he or she is not registered, either as a degree-seeking student or as a non-degree-seeking student.
The FAU Repeat Course policy limits a student to two attempts at taking the same course. Students attempting any course for a third time must obtain authorization from their officially declared college before registering for the course at FAU.
Undergraduates are permitted to apply the Forgiveness Policy at any time prior to graduation. Forgiveness Policy Request forms should be submitted to the Registrar's Office after the course has been repeated.
Students who voluntarily withdrawal from all courses after the last day to drop and add of the term and by the deadline on the academic calendar will be eligible for a twenty-five percent (25%) tuition adjustment. After this date, students are held fully liable for tuition fees.
Academic probation is removed when an undergraduate student earns at least a 2.0 grade point average in all work attempted during the next period of enrollment AND has a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher at Florida Atlantic University.
Unfortunately a grade D is not a pass. A grade D is between 40-49 and that is what it's showing, that you are below a C grade.

If you were originally enrolled in multiple parts of term, your last date of attendance would ONLY include all days attended in any parts of term within the semester, excluding any overlapping days attended.
Go to the Mandatory Course Entry Quiz Column. Click on the down arrow to the right of the column name. Select View All Attempts. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Show All.
The MCEQ should NOT be available to students before the first day of class. The quiz should only be available from the first day of class until the census date at midnight.
The Census Date will be located in the third column of the Class Roster tab.
This is a STATE policy. Students should not be allowed to take the MCEQ after the census date has passed.
