Is it hard to get into SAB?

The privilege of training at S.A.B. is rare. Over 2,000 students audition for the school each year, of which approximately 200 are invited for its five-week summer course, and fewer than 100 are accepted for its 10-month winter course.

What is SAB looking for?

SAB faculty look for children with an anatomical structure suited to the demands of classical dance: a well-proportioned, flexible, coordinated body, legs that easily adopt the turned-out condition, and a high instep. Children must also possess musical aptitude.
