Mar 07, 2022 · Courses in which a student receives a grade of “D” or “F” may not be counted toward the degree. Students who fall below the minimum will be placed on academic probation and may be suspended. A student must maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined below to be eligible for federal financial aid programs at Southeastern University.
All college level courses that earned a passing grade (including a D) will transfer and be included in your cumulative totals. However, you may need to retake these courses if your major requires a C or higher in the course. If I repeated a course, how does the grade affect my GPA? Southeastern does not have a repeat-delete policy.

Grades provide important feedback to students regarding their academic progress. While faculty are expected to post all grades in Moodle in a timely manner, Academic Checkpoints serve as an early alert and intervention strategy and are an essential component in our efforts to improve student success and student retention rates.

JAWS for Windows 11 and 12 were used during accessibility testing. Blackboard Learn 9.1 requires the latest version of Sun JA VA. JRE version 7 is the recommended version for features that depend on it.
In terms of system requirements, Firefox and Chrome have been a more reliable browsers when using Blackboard, especially for taking tests. Blackboard Support does not provide technical support for making sure a student’s computer settings are compliant with the recommended configuration settings. If a student’s computer does not work properly, it is the student’s responsibility to either acquire or locate a computer to use that meets the recommended configuration settings. Submission of SAT or ACT scores is not required for admission to Southeastern University. If you submit test scores, they will be considered with your application, but they are not mandatory. 41% of students submit SAT scores and 37% submit ACT scores.
Southeastern University is an open admission policy institution. Open admission colleges typically have few admission thresholds and will admit all applicants so long as certain minimum requirements are met. New admission is often granted continually throughout the year.
