At my current college, you can't even register for a course if you do not meet the required pre-recs, but at my last college you could register for what ever you wanted and it would be up to the teacher if you were allowed to take the course or not. Some schools allow auditing, others do not.
Dec 23, 2013 · It’s often a lot easier and more meaningful to just spend time with your friends outside of class. Taking the class with your friends won’t really let you spend any more time with them than you could otherwise, besides just sitting next to them in class.
.This all just sounds like a waste of time and money, to me.

Jun 09, 2015 · A corequisite is a course that the student must take prior to or concurrently with the selected course. Course descriptions show prerequisite/corequisites where applicable. These requirements are there for a reason and most likely needed for you to succeed in the course in question. If you do not meet the course requirements, you are not eligible for the course.
They will automatically drop you from math classes if you don't have the prerequisites. I tried taking Calc II without Calc I and got a similar message. About a week or two later they dropped me from the class and I continued to get messages telling me to drop the class (even though it wasn't in my calendar anymore) for the entire semester.
