Transferring from a four-year (or out-of-state two-year) institution. You can transfer to UC from a four-year or a non-California two-year institution.
Withdrawing from a class might save you from stress and lower grades if you're struggling with a course or schedule overload. Withdrawing from too many classes or using withdrawals as a substitute for choosing the right courses, however, can affect your grades and financial aid.
“A withdrawal will be on the transcripts but does not affect GPA.” Croskey also noted that there aren't any limits to how many classes one can drop because they don't go on the transcript. Withdrawals though are limited and can look bad if there are too many on a student's transcript.
Select “Academic Records” and click on the “Drop Classes” tab from the left-hand navigation. Select the course from which you would like to withdraw. Please note that withdrawal dates apply, and only courses you are eligible to withdraw from will be available to select. Submit your withdrawal request.
Hi folks. As the title suggests, I have an incredibly disruptive classmate in a couple of my classes. He is often interrupting the lecture to show off what he knows about the subject. It's so bad that it feels like he just sucks the air out of a lecture.
Hey everyone check out the new State Hornet Broadcast. It's pretty informative and recaps an abundance we as a community missed while on winter break.
Hello everyone, State Hornet reporter here, check out our editorial on how the CSU backtracked on their announcement to a primarily in-person instruction for the fall 2021 semester. Let me know what you think about this as well! https://statehornet.com/2021/02/editorial-fall-2021-csu-joseph-castro/
Are we supposed to apply for graduation once we reach 85 or more units or 2 semesters from graduating? Thanks!
Hi everyone, not too long ago I started a discord for the university in hopes that while we're stuck doing school online (and ideally beyond that: for incoming students to make friends and connections before school starts, etc) we'd have a place for a little bit of "normal" to communicate with others
One and a half more weeks, and we'll be chilling by the beach or something lol.
Am I the only one that doesn’t like respondus lockdown? The user interface is extremely outdated and the camera quality makes my poor camera quality even worse than it already is. The inability of this browser to record a smooth video is not helping when I’m already stressing about my test.
I’m a slightly older transfer student - applied math major with hopes of adding on a cs minor. I’ve submitted my intent to enroll at sjsu, but I got into UC Davis and am rethinking my options. I was worried that Davis would be boring, but I also haven’t heard so much about sjsu.
Hey everyone! I am currently working on a class project and need participants to complete a survey about Covid vaccine passports. Your participation would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
