Editor's Note: Course closed for business in 2018. Situated midway between Belvidere and Oxford, Apple Mountain Golf & Country Club has been recognized as one of New Jersey's must-play courses. The course was built on an apple orchard, providing fragrant apple blossoms in the spring and colorful foliage in the fall.

The Beech Mountain Club has a beautiful eighteen hole golf course that was designed by Willard Byrd. The Club is open to owners and renters of qualified property here in Beech Mountain.

But the fact remains, the hills of Clermont are as real as they are beautiful. They are part of the formation of Florida's sand ridges, The uplift (hills) is attributed to the karstification/erosion of the platform.
