It isn't a party school if that is your thing. There are opportunities to meet companies and attend university events but it is up to you to go. The school won't force you to. You have to be responsible for your own work and to meet people.
This school does have a party atmosphere; however, it does have excellent professors and programs. The kind of person who should not attend school should be those who really do not want to focus on learning. A person who should not attend the University of Idaho would be someone who is not a 'people' person.

If a student has not attended the course or stopped attending, please give the student a grade of X, for Not Attending, and provide the last date of attendance. Both the F and X grade are failing grades. The F should be awarded to the student who completes the course but does not meet the course outcomes.

The Early College Program offers dual credit courses to Idaho high school students at their high school, on an ISU campus, as well as online. Before a student can register, they must complete the application process and receive a BengalWeb username and password. Some courses may require a passing placement score.
