God has put a promise inside each and every one of us. Oftentimes, we have to go through the wilderness before we reach our promised land. Oftentimes, like Joseph, we feel like we are in a pit long before we ever see the palace. Maybe you’re in a season right now where you don’t see anything happening.
Father, thank You for leading and guiding me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. I choose to trust even when I don’t understand. I choose to believe that You are working behind the scenes for my good. I will stay the course knowing that You have blessing and victory in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We tell our souls what to do, as the psalmist does, by preaching to ourselves and questioning ourselves and by fixing our eyes on the truth about our journey and the One who sets our course. You see, you can find hope in the present when you preach the truth to yourself about where you’re headed.
Fixing our eyes on our eternal hope empowers us to persevere in our earthly homes, trusting Jesus to not only lead us, but sustain us to finish the course. Heavenly Father, I ask today that You help me fix my eyes on the eternal hope I have only in You.
God’s goal for you is not just to survive but thrive in the Holy Spirit. Invite God’s Spirit to permeate every inch of you and you will dance, you will sing in front of the scary things in your life. You will stay the course until the very end. And you will be blessed.
The best thing to do is to stay in God’s presence. If you run, you lose. But if you stay, you win. So wait on God, stay in his presence, and he will help you to stay the course. Staying in God’s presence is the most important thing to do. All the blessings flow from there.
Stay The Course Series. Many people have gone before us and endured hardship and persecution. The Prophets, Job, Peter, Mark Buntain, Rachel Scott, Cassie Burnel, the list goes on of those who have stayed the course through all the trials and challenges.
