The CNA course is 75 hours in length and includes classroom learning, lab time, and clinical time at an area long term care facility. Attendance at a mandatory orientation session is required prior to beginning the class. A background check is done at the orientation session.
After successful completion of the Nurse Aide 75-hour course, the student would then be eligible to take the Advanced Nurse Aide 75-hour. Required textbook, handbook, shoes and scrubs, watch with a second hand, stethoscope, etc. are in addition to the cost of the class.
