I just started but I love this job so far. I am an alumni from the school as well and a current student as well as an employee. The benefits are absolutely amazing.
Flexible job and fair pay. Meaningful work. I love working with the students, and it's wonderful to be able to work from home. Good pay for adjunct work.
It is an ok place to work but there is little upward growth available. The PTO and health insurance are the only reason I stay. Too much stress and not enough pay. Typical call center environment.
I’ve been adjunct faculty for 15 years and have loved every minute. The university really takes care of us. I am able to get a second masters on them and even have a retirement fund that they match.
Overall, SNHU was a good place to work and the benefits were honestly hard to leave. Leadership micro manages and cares too much about numbers. Management is too into the SNHU values much of the time seeming very fake.
The work is fairly easy and gratifying, but the pay could have been better. Very flexible hours - you decide when you want to work - keep in mind some weeks are busier than others.
I love the structure and organization of the classroom modules. I also appreciate how all information is accessible and if you need an answer to an issue it is provided almost immediately.#N#The only thing I'd like to see is a way to advance.
Is everybody good? How are your classes going? Do you miss the summer yet?

So, I want to switch from CS/Software engineering to some sort of business degree. I emailed my advisor yesterday but haven't heard back yet, so I'm wondering if anyone here who has successfully switched majors can outline what the process was like?
