I, personally, have a degree from Ashford. They use the same Blackboard technology for their “classroom” setting as most of the other Universities I’ve spoken with. Additionally, my degree transferred with zero issues to a Graduate program.
Well...ok…instead of doing actual research…yes it's accredited, however you can actually read this on their website and if you don't actually believe that then you can look on the department of education's website. I do implore you to do actual research though or you may not make it through actual college because that takes effort and discipline. Ashford University makes you take control of your academic success; in other words you can not place blame on your failures, you have to own them. So if you truly believe that you are strong enough to take online courses then take them from Ashford University because it's a good school with nothing to hide. They've had their growing pains, have you? It's actually a pretty tough college experience if you are strong enough to understand that you are your own worst enemy. It is fast paced and very tiring.
