Am I justifying myself to stay in dental school?

I am a current D2 and ever since I got accepted to dental school I have been questioning myself whether or not I made the right choice. I was always great in school and did well in all the science courses. I never had any manual dexterity experience and every since we started in the sim lab, it’s been a huge learning curve for me.

Right now I am trying to do really well in school so I can keep doors open for myself. I know that you need to be in the top 10% of your class and have high standard exam scores to be an OMFS but what about pediatric dentistry? Right now I have some interest in pursuing a specialty, particularly pediatrics

Top student at science didactics but mediocre and even below average at lab?

If not the highest, I always get closest to the highest grade in classes such as histo, biochem, Phys, micro, neuro, etc. But in labs, no matter how much effort or practice I am average at best, but most likely around 25-33 percentile.
