Pretty bad place to work. Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Blountville, TN - February 12, 2022. The training was pretty solid at Agero, and the pay and benefits were good. Everything else was awful. Management doesn't care about the employees or the customers, they just care about how quickly you take calls.
Driving Driving: Unmatched Digital Driver Assistance. Our white-label roadside assistance, accident management, consumer affairs, and digital dispatch solutions are informed by deep industry expertise and insight from more than 12 million annual events.
It’s 24 hours so you can work any shift. Callers are often upset because they have emergency issues and still waiting for help. Great training environment.
The training is very minimal/close to non existent. Many phone calls/cases become escalated due to improper handling, which isn't necessarily the agents fault, since they were not trained well.
The training is 3 weeks long but only 3-4 days of that time is spent teaching the actual role of the job...the rest was downloading their software and getting a large group of 47 people in the training class set up.
Lots and lots of Mandatory overtime, compensate you with money or gift cards which they tax. Gift cards get taxed as well. Anything they give you they tax
I dislike this company with a passion, putting my two weeks in. They do mandatory overtime ALL THE TIME for a while month or two and don't pay overtime pay at all. You get paid base pay for OT. If I could give this company 0 stars I would.
i had 2 family members pass away this year and they gave me points for attendance and it was near to impossible to get them to fix it. pay was the only good thing if i am being honest. the only thing the supervisors care about is their team stats.
It wasn't that bad of a place to work. One of the better call centers. When I was there they had a loan program that was very helpful had some struggles in life.

The training is 3 weeks long but only 3-4 days of that time is spent teaching the actual role of the job...the rest was downloading their software and getting a large group of 47 people in the training class set up. They don't teach you everything that goes along with the role before throwing you on the phones with people who are already upset and stranded on the side of the road, there's no time for learning the role. They give you a ridiculous amount of info in a very short amount of time and teach you the absolute basics, then its up to you to figure out the rest, and you get 60 seconds between calls to finish the last and prepare for the next. The service providers that you speak to regularly have no patience and are always rude. Not sure why, but alot of times it was like pulling teeth to find service providers (Tow companies) to take jobs for Agero. Coaches that are there to help guide you are rude and short with you if you ask questions.... Horrible experience.
Calls are back to back, depending on what department you work in and can be stressful due to leadership being unhelpful and expecting unrealistic numbers for you in terms of calls, how long you can take notes (10 seconds), hold time, etc.
Agero is a good job for starting out. It's not a job appreciates long term employees because the yearly raises and bonuses are too low. They are company that is all about the company and not enough for employees.
Agero is a different company to work for bc it can be very stressful , and then sometimes down right frightening, but helping people and getting them back to what they are trying to accomplish is an accomplishment.
I started to feel like a robot saying the exact same thing over and over all day everyday I worked. MANDATORY OT like every day honestly. And their systems are always breaking down. I could say so much more but I'll give you an idea off of that.
I enjoyed my time w Agero. Easy job, good money. I had to leave for personal reasons but I would work there again. The management was always very nice and helped eveerytime.
I’ve worked for them for almost 2 years, all they care about is money and to make sure you’re there to fill a seat. The supervisors barley do their job the way it is.
system issues is bad but not one have that problem I guess. They got people to help out with that, Just makes sure to be on time and willing to take and the training they help alot.
The best thing to do at this job is to make sure to find the right location for the stranded motorists or it will be a decline in the company's percentage ratings. At Agero make sure to ask plenty questions even if it takes a long time to get help. At Agero you can make great money.
This company has mandatory overtime that they do not tell you about until you are almost done with training. They tell you one thing at hiring and once you are in there you find out it was all a lie. They expect you to work 3 positions at once.
