Because 1 light-year is about 1,000 kilometers on this scale, Alpha Centauri's distance of 4.4 light-years is about 4,400 kilometers. Our answer shows that if you start at the model Sun in Washington, DC, you would have to walk about 4,400 kilometers to reach the next grapefruit-size star on the same scale.
Neither Voyager is aimed toward Alpha Centauri, but if one of them were – assuming it maintained its current rate of speed – it would take tens of thousands of years to get to get there. Eventually, the Voyagers will pass other stars.

You can get those photons from the Sun, but you can also get them from a directed laser beam, designed to fill the sails with photons, without actually melting the spacecraft. Proxima Centauri lies in the constellation of Centaurus (The Centaur), just over four light-years from Earth. Although it looks bright through the eye of Hubble, as you might expect from the nearest star to the Solar System, Proxima Centauri is not visible to the unaided eye.

When the planet is angry you are causing environmental damage, it'll sometimes create a volcanic island rich with resources you'd want, plus more land mass to build on. More of a reward than a punishment. An angry planet sends mindworms and other native lifeforms, which you can then kill for some easy energy.
Even when a water base is built against the land, units on the land can not capture it, without the amphibious ability . They can however enter it after it has been captured by yourself or an ally. Units you can send by airdrop, can not land on water, or a water base. Isle of the deep are able to capture an enemy base.
Capturing water bases. Even after killing all the defensive units inside a water base with your aircraft, you still can not capture it without a unit that has amphi bious ability or a warship. A transport ship can not capture it, nor can the units you attempt to unload in it, unless one of them is amphibious.
The planet has become used to you at that amount. It is therefor much better to have your rating as high as possible before the first bloom. The more bore holes, the better. You should be aware that if you heat up the planet too much, the world will flood.
