The invitation-only Hero World Challenge wraps up on Sunday in the Bahamas. Tiger Woods hosts the exclusive event and it features 20 of the best golfers in the world. It does not count toward PGA Tour records and there is no cut for the event. The purse for the tournament is $3.5 million.

Tiger Woods will welcome 20 of the world's top players to the Bahamas for the Hero World Challenge. Hideki Matsuyama, who played the third round with Tiger Woods in 2017, is in the field at the 2021 Hero World Challenge.
On Saturday, Golf Channel will carry live coverage from 12-2:30 p.m. EST; NBC will finish the day's coverage from 2:30-5 p.m. EST. On Sunday, Golf Channel will carry live coverage from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. EST; NBC will finish the day's coverage from 1-4 p.m. EST.

Viktor HovlandViktor Hovland wins 2021 Hero World Challenge When the final putt dropped, it was Viktor Hovland who had won the 2021 Hero World Challenge. At 18-under par, Hovland becomes the fourth winner in the last five tournaments at Albany to post a winning score of 18-under par.
By tournament rules, all players competing in the Hero World Challenge must be part of the top 50 in the world, except for sponsor exemptions. This year, all 20 players are part of the world top 50.
The tournament was first played in 1999 when it was called the Williams World Challenge and won by Tom Lehman. After several sponsor changes, it's been called the Hero World Challenge since 2014.
