Traffic school is always discretionary on the court's part. Most courts will not automatically offer traffic school *AT* or above 25MPH over the limit. You can always ask. Unless you actually go to trial (not the initial appearance), the officer won't be there to testify as to your actual speed (or what you said you were going).

I am just concern that asking for traffic school means I am contesting and therefore the officer might testify against me and say that I actually went above 100mph and I will be charged with a higher violation and get my dirver's lience suspended.
