The Grizzly is a course that has hosted PGA, LPGA, and the Senior PGA events since 1973. It is currently the home of the Senior PGA Kroger Senior Classic. The unique Jack Nicklaus Design presents a course as daunting for the pros as it is accommodating for the most casual player.

The setting and terrain of the Grizzly isn't as dynamic as other top public golf courses in Cincinnati such as Elks Run Golf Club and Shaker Run Golf Club. Unfortunately, all of the roller-coaster hills and humps are at the nearby amusement park seen from the course.
Golf course design work will include modifications to increase the number of tee areas, increase the size of some tee areas to better accommodate the number of rounds played, reduce the bunker areas by over half, replace the irrigation system, and improve drainage on some of the fairways.
Experience putting and chipping on a green that is in the same condition as a tournament course. There is plenty of room on the 11,000 square foot practice green to improve the finer points of your game.

The golf course is approximately 174 acres and is bounded by the SR-57/SR-60 confluence to the north and west, Golden Springs Drive to the south and east, and a residential neighborhood to the east.
