Now the Midwest Regional Parks Director, Leslie fought Ron and the tech company Gryzzl for land from the wealthy Newport family. In the end, she got the land and gave Pawnee its National Park.

That same year, the Academy and Northern Oklahoma College signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU) — an accrediting partnership that remained active (until the spring of 2010) and that allowed students to be dually enrolled and receive college credit for courses taught at the Pawnee campus.

As such, it is the student’s responsibility to formally withdraw from the College. It is not the College’s responsibility to withdraw the student.
The Pawnee Nation College is governed by a Board of Trustees that serves staggered four-year terms. The Trustees meet quarterly. In conducting the business of the College, the Board offers guidance to the President, passes resolutions, makes recommendations, and assists in the planning process and the school’s formative development.
The Pawnee Nation College encourages the use of the internet and email as a means to conduct business and to provide an effective way for students to communicate with faculty, staff, and other students.

PNC has an enrollment system that allows students to enroll in classes for an upcoming semester at any time. In order to ensure proper admissions, enrollment, and registration, the College requires that every student follows procedures outlined in the In-Take Process section of the Handbook. The establishment of an academic institution on the Pawnee Nation Reserve is, in many ways, a reclamation project. Not only is the Pawnee Nation renovating buildings on the National Register of Historic Places in order to establish a College, it is doing so to struc-tures that originally served as part of the Pawnee Industrial School.

As citizens, students enjoy the same freedoms guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights that all other citizens enjoy.
