I hope you can help me: I need to delete a course but I don't want that the users who followed it and received a badge will see it disappear. Does the badge remain even if I delete the course that generated it?

Re: badges and courses

A badge awarded to a user belongs to the user. Deleting a course or deleting a badge from the course settings will not affect awarded badges. Awarded badges, by design in the Open Badges specification, belong to the person awarded.
