A grade of "Z" is given when a student stops attending a course and fails to officially withdrawal from it. The grade is counted the same way that an "F" would count towards the GPA. Please be aware that grades of "Z" are punitive grades, as those courses will not earn credit towards degree completion.

There are benefits to taking classes at another University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE).
The purpose of this form is to enable you to enroll in a distance education course at another PASSHE institution and transfer the course credit and grade back to WCU, if the institution and WCU have an affiliation agreement.
This form will permit students to apply to take a class at another PASSHE institution. Registering as a PASSHE visiting student permits courses to be transferred across the PASSHE State System, without loss of institutional residency, eligibility for honors or athletics, or credit towards graduation at WCU.
Undergraduate students may complete this form to appeal determinations regarding transfer credit evaluations, specifically for courses that have been rejected (i.e. REJ Q00) or transferred to WCU as an elective (i.e. TRN 199).
