Students in UTI’s Welding program learn about the procedures and equipment required to weld using gas metal arc (GMAW), shielded metal arc (SMAW), flux-cored arc (FCAW) and gas tungsten arc (GTAW) welders.

WELDING CLASSES

Developed in conjunction with Lincoln Electric, UTI’s Welding training program curriculum includes MIG, TIG, stick and flux-cored welding processes throughout the 12 hands-on courses.

Boiler making training courses

Boiler making course cost is R7000 and duration is 4 weeks. After training at the institute, a student attains a boilermaker certification.

Double coded welder training

Double coded welding course cost is R7500 and takes 4 weeks. After training at our school, a student attains a a double coded certification.

Flux core short welding courses

Flux core welder training cost is R7000 and takes 4 weeks. After the Flux welding training course, a student attains a flux core welding certificate.
