This course is designed for the absolute beginner to watercolor. It explores how to mix your paints inside your palette as well as how to apply those paint to water ratios to dry and wet paper. This course mainly targets what is going on inside your palette – which is a crucial foundational skill for every other skill in watercolor.

FOR THE NOVICE

This course is designed for the novice – or someone who has a bit of knowledge with watercolor but wants to learn more. Specifically how to paint watercolor washes (Flat Wash, Gradient Wash, and Variegated Wash) and how transparent and opaque paint can effect these washes.

TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL

This course is basically a review of the previous two – (but with less detail). This course was designed for the artist that wants to take the basics and actually apply them in an illustration. In this course you learn how I take the basics of watercolor and apply them to paint a fox.
