There are so many stories to uncover and so much to explore in this very underrated game. The music is absolutely amazing and Dr. Reid is just a very interesting main character. If you like a game mixed with souls-like combat with a big story mixed in, then this game is totally worth getting.
Similar to other souls-like games, each area in Vampyr has doors and/or gates which may be shortcuts to previous areas or different areas entirely. The first way to gain XP in Vampyr without killing anyone is by curing NPCs. To cure NPCs in Vampyr, you’ll need to check their ailment and then give them the appropriate medicine (which can be crafted). Curing an NPC awards you 50 XP. Not much, but it adds up.
