I am pretty sure CE majors can not do the CMPS capstone, and I don't really think that would be a good idea even if it were possible. CS is not CE, I doubt a CS capstone would involve much hardware or CE level work. I am looking forward to 129A, but remember you need to get your project approved by the end of the quarter to move on to 129B.
If you can, take it with Arden on spring. As for electives, you can try to do 180 now and 181 on spring since it can knock out capstone class. If you want to boost credit units, you can also take MATH 100, which some 102 professors strongly recommend. But give you best and try to get into 102, 110, or 130.
