How to Adjust Your Classes After the Add/Drop Period. After the add/drop period, all changes must be made with an online Enrollment Adjustment Form . Undergraduate students can access the form beginning Friday of week two. There is a $4 fee after the Friday of week three. If you drop to less than 6 units you may lose all of your aid eligibility. When you discontinue enrollment, a balance may be created on your UC Riverside student account for the difference between the fee refund and the calculated amount of aid returned.
If you enroll in a course and decide you no longer want it, you must go to R'Web and drop it by the published deadline as listed at Dates & Deadlines. It is your responsibility to monitor your enrollment closely, which includes dropping any unwanted classes/sections prior to the published drop deadlines.

Withdrawal requests submitted after the first 25% but within the first 75% will receive a grade of W. After the first 75% of the class you will receive the grade earned. Only one withdrawal per course is permitted.
Current UCR students (including students admitted for Fall 2022), students visiting from other college campuses, students not currently enrolled in college and international students can take summer classes at UCR.
Financial aid may be available for summer classes if you are: A current or incoming UCR undergraduate student. A current or new teaching credential/M.
Students may enroll in a maximum of 15 units. This limit may be increased based on proven academic ability and the feasibility of the student's schedule.

A Note on Full-Time Status and "Finishing in Four". To be considered a full-time student at UCR, you must enroll in at least 12 units per quarter. However, undergraduate students must average 15 units per quarter in order to graduate in four years. MBA students are considered full-time at 16 units.
If you do not attend class during the first and second weeks of instruction, you may be dropped from the course or receive an "F" or "NC.". To avoid this, drop the class using R’Web (if it’s before the end of the add/drop period) or file an enrollment adjustment form (if it’s after the end of the add/drop period).
