Can you register for a course after an appointment?

During Registration and Add/Drop, you can only register after your appointment time. If you register for your first course that term during Late Registration and/or Add/Drop, you will be charged $100 Late Registration Fee. Get your Degree Audit. Can a college override an ENC 1102?

Please note a college can only process overrides for courses they teach, i.e. the College of Sciences cannot process and override for ENC 1102 since that course is taught by the College of Arts and Humanities.

Can emergencies affect online courses?

Though most emergency situations are primarily relevant to courses that meet in person, such incidents can also impact online students, either when they are on or near campus to participate in other courses or activities or when their course work is affected by off-campus emergencies. The following policies apply to courses in online modalities.

I. Course Creation: Faculty Webcourses Manager (FWM)

The Faculty Webcourses Manager (FWM) is a self-service tool that allows faculty to create Webcourses@UCF course section for their classes. The course section is generated within 24 hours and enrolled students are automatically added to the course.

You have two major options for adding content once your course section is created in FWM:

IV. Hide Inactive Sections (Optional)

As you teach using Webcourses@UCF, the number of courses you are enrolled in will increase. We suggest that you hide inactive courses to limit the length of your course list. This process does not delete or deny you access to a courses. It simply prevents inactive courses from appearing in the Courses sidebar of the global navigation menu.

V. Request Additional Instructors, TAs, or Other Users (Optional)

Contact your department scheduler to add individuals needing these roles to your course using PeopleSoft. If you do not know who your department scheduler is, please contact your department chair’s office.
