The organization and Trump mutually decided that the 2015 Grand Slam of Golf should not be held at Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles following Trump's comments on Mexican immigrants at a presidential rally. The event was eventually canceled after being unable to find a host.
But the 2022 PGA Championship will still not be played at Trump's New Jersey golf course. It has been moved to the Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla. The land on which the course is situated is owned by the City of Palos Verdes Estates, and the club is operated under a concession agreement with the city.
