Before you can register, you must have met with your academic advisor to receive advisement on courses you need to take. This will allow your academic advisor to also provide you with identifying the 5-digit Course Registration Numbers (CRNs) for your classes.
Since TN eCampus is a partnership of many institutions, some of the instructors are provided by the partner institutions instead of Tech. In that case, the instructor's name is not listed in Eagle Online.
Your academic advisor will tell you the day and time you may access course registration and give you your registration Alternate PIN (AltPin). You may log on and register on or after your scheduled registration time only. Registration appointment times are assigned per classification and earned hours:
About a week before each term begins, TN eCampus sends each student a unique username and password to their student email address. You can login to your student email through Tech Express. What do I do if my TN eCampus username and password are not working? First, try the “Forgot your password?” link on the TN eCampus course login page.
You will need to contact your advisor or the Registration Office. If you have not already registered, you will need to get in contact with your advisor for your alternate pin.
Federal law requires that all first-time and transfer students, both undergraduate and graduate, participate in primary prevention and awareness training designed to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
Athletes, student Veterans, students registered with Disability Services, Honors students, and tour guides are considered eligible for early/priority registration as those students have a non-flexible time commitment to the University.
Registration Holds. A student may not have finalized all University requirements which results in a registration hold. This “hold” locks the registration process and the student is required to report to the appropriate office before registering to have the hold removed.
Below is information regarding the permissible course loads for students per student type and per academic standing. This information is helpful for registration purposes, so that you may determine for how many hours you are eligible depending on your student type and status.
The minimum load for full-time attendance is 12 semester hours. In the summer 4 hours is considered the minimum full-time load per session. (See “Financial Aid” section below).
When emailing your instructor, you should receive a response within 48 hours, although some instructors do not respond on the weekend. Excluding weekends, after 48 hours with no response, check the Instructor Information page in the Getting Started module of your course for alternate contact information.
TN eCampus is a partnership of higher education institutions across Tennessee, including Tennessee Tech University, created to provide students with more options for online learning. TN eCampus courses are fully online, although some courses may have proctored midterm and/or final exams. Multiple proctoring options are available for proctored exams, including the use of a virtual proctor, so students can take exams wherever they are.
