How long do I have access to my course in Canvas? Instructor access to course materials does not expire. Access will change from Edit to Read-Only after 1 year plus 1 quarter. For example, a course that is held in Fall of 2020 will become read-only at the end of Fall 2021.
Changes made to enrollments in the registration system (Banner) will be synchronized to Canvas every 2 hours - so expected at least a 2 hour delay before changes are reflected in Canvas.May 18, 2021

When you import one course into another, during the import process, there is an option to modify the due dates and availability dates all at one time.
While Import Course Content brings over much of the content developed in a previous version of the course, there are a number of external applications that need to be updated to work correctly in this new copy of your course.

The user interface for creating and managing "new" quizzes has been moved to the Canvas Quizzes tool, and the +Quiz/Test button is no longer available in Canvas Assignments. Use the +Quiz button in Canvas Quizzes to create quizzes in both the classic and new quiz formats. For more, see Canvas Release Notes (2020-02-15) .
Both tools will continue to be available until New Quizzes has achieved feature parity with Canvas Quizzes. The original Canvas Quizzes tool will eventually be retired, but Instructure has not yet announced the timeline .
Schedule student availability gives students a window of time to view the file. If you select this option, students can view the file in Course Files as well as other areas of Canvas where the file has been added. If students attempt to access the file outside the availability dates, the file will be locked.
Users can edit permissions for files, including setting the state of the file (published or unpublished), restrict file access to students who have the link, or schedule availability dates for the files.
