The latter carried the colours of Jacques Détré, the vice-president of France Galop, and was trained by Éric Libaud in the Sarthe region. The 182nd edition of the legendary Qatar Prix du Jockey Club, a race reserved for 3-year-old thoroughbreds, will be held in 2022 at Chantilly racecourse.
Ioritz Mendizabal also won the Qatar Prix du Jockey Club in 2008 on Vision d'Etat. The latter carried the colours of Jacques Détré, the vice-president of France Galop, and was trained by Éric Libaud in the Sarthe region.

Prix du Jockey ClubThe Prix du Jockey Club, sometimes referred to as the French Derby, is a Group 1 flat horse race in France open to three-year-old thoroughbred colts and fillies. It is run at Chantilly over a distance of 2,100 metres (about 1 mile and 2½ furlongs) each year in early June.
NewmarketOrigins – 1750 The Jockey Club was founded in 1750 by some of the most influential figures in British society who shared a passion for horseracing. Initially they held meetings in London at the Star and Garter in Pall Mall and also in St. James' Street and Hyde Park. Soon the Club relocated to Newmarket.

ChantillyIt is run over a 2,400-metre (about 1 1/2-mile) course at Chantilly, near Paris, and is sometimes termed the French Derby because of its similarity to the older English race of that name. It is run in June.
Breeder-owner H H Aga Khan won the race for the 8th time, winning trainer Jean-Claude Rouget a 5th time, and Christophe Soumillon was signing a 4th win in the French Derby.

Sandy Dudgeon Sandy became our Senior Steward in July 2019. He chairs The Jockey Club's main board, which sets the strategic direction of the organisation and oversees the Group's executive functions.
The Jockey Club opened in 1974. Today, people can either own a timeshare there or stay there for a visit. Located on the Las Vegas Strip, its location is right by the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino. The developer of The Cosmopolitan actually invested over $9 million into the Jockey Club.
