Locked behind a door requiring three power stars, Jolly Roger Bay is the third course of Super Mario 64, and the first of its three water levels. Upon entering through that door, a series of aquariums frames the course’s entrance painting, foreshadowing its underwater setting and serene ambiance.

To get the Plunder in the Sunken Ship Star in Mario 64, swim down to the bottom of the ocean in Jolly Roger Bay to the shipwreck, and swim close to the giant eel and then back to the surface. The eel will then swim out of its hiding hole, and you can swim into the part of the shipwreck.Sep 18, 2020
You should be able swim after the eel and touch the Power Star on its tail. If you don't get it in time, you'll need to lure the eel out and try again. Once you touch the Power Star on the eel's tail, it'll bounce off and settle under the cave entrance from which the eel swam out.Jan 3, 2022
To get it, simply make your way through the underwater tunnel swimming, hit the ! Switch on the dock, and then clamber up to the submarine to grab the star. Once you've nabbed this star, the Submarine disappears forever.Sep 18, 2020
Swim toward the sunken ship on the lake floor. Go toward the back of the ship to find a large eel. Swim close to it to lure it away from its position. Wait for the eel to disappear; then, swim through the hole behind it.Oct 12, 2020
An eel, known as Unagi the eel, will be guarding it from the inside. Players will need to use Mario's body to lure Unagi out of the boat. Once he has left, players will need to enter the hole that Unagi was inside to enter the ship's interior.Sep 18, 2020
To get 100 coins on Jolly Roger Bay, you'll need to get almost every coin in the stage – there's only 104 coins in total, and only 55 of those are yellow. You might want to consider going for this star at the same time as getting the red coins as a result.

Jolly Roger is the traditional English name for the flags flown to identify a pirate ship about to attack, during the early 18th century (the later part of the Golden Age of Piracy).
To access Tiny-Huge Island, you must first obtain the keep from Bowser in the Fire Sea and unlock the door on the second floor. After unlocking the door, go up the spiral staircase and use the door at the top of the stairs. Go left and use the star door to enter the room containing the three painting of the course.Oct 18, 2020
