Agility is an incredibly basic, yet fundamental skill in RuneScape. As you level up, your run energy will deplete at a slower rate. You’ll have the ability to catch multiple hunter creatures at an increased rate. One of the biggest perks is gaining access to the hundreds of shortcuts available all throughout the world.
Agility is a members-only skill which gives access to various shortcuts around RuneScape. Other benefits of the skill include faster run energy restoration and the ability to obtain the graceful outfit. Note that the faster energy restore rate also applies in free-to-play worlds.

A player with level 99 Agility can obtain the 20,000 experience limit in around 10 minutes, giving an experience rate equivalent to 120,000 experience an hour.
Starting at level 40, it will take you about 986 laps to reach level 60 Agility. Each complete lap rewards you with 240 experience.
The Graceful outfit can only be bought with marks of grace, which can only be obtained by running laps on Rooftop Agility Courses. Buying the entire set takes 260 Marks, which can be obtained as early as level 55~ Agility if the rooftop courses are done, except the Falador course.
Contrary to popular belief, a player's Agility level does not contribute to how quickly the player's run energy is depleted, only how quickly run energy is regenerated. The only factor that contributes to how quickly run energy is depleted is weight.
A player's actual chances of receiving it is 1 in B - (Lvl * 25), where B is the base chance and Lvl is the player's Agility level.

The Gnome Stronghold Agility Course is the only good training option from level 1 to 10 and will earn a maximum of 8,000 experience per hour, with 86.5 experience per run. It takes 13 and a half laps to reach level 10.
Training on the Al Kharid Rooftop Course yields up to 9,360 experience per hour when using stamina potions, each lap yielding 180 experience. It will take roughly 50 laps to reach level 30.

Levels 52-65: Wilderness Agility Course. At level 52 Agility, players should start training at the Wilderness Agility Course, which gives between 36,000 and 41,000 experience an hour for levels 52-65 Agility. As the course is located in the Wilderness, it is possible to be attacked by other players while training.
Players can start training at the Ape Atoll Agility Course from level 48 Agility, gaining 24,000-28,000 experience an hour with level 48-52 Agility. Continue training with clockwork suits until level 62 Agility. Start training at Ape Atoll at level 62 Agility to gain 34,000-40,000 experience an hour.
From level 18 Agility players should train by repeatedly climbing the trellis shortcut on the north-eastern corner of the Watchtower, found just outside the north-western part of Yanille. After using the shortcut, climb down the ladder in the south-western corner of the room to return to the ground floor of the Watchtower. This method can provide around 10,000 experience an hour. It is not possible to fail climbing the trellis.
At level 1 Agility, players should begin training at the Gnome Stronghold Agility Course. With level 1-18 Agility, around 6,800 experience an hour can be gained from completing laps of this course.
At level 77 Agility, players can train at the Hefin Agility Course. Completion of the Plague's End quest is required to access it. The amount of experience gained from traversing obstacles on the course and bonus experience awarded for completing a full lap of the course increases every 5 Agility levels. Players who do not want to train within the Wilderness can continue training using clockwork suits until around level 62 Agility, when training at the Ape Atoll Agility Course begins to give more experience an hour than training with clockwork suits. Obstacles can be failed, but many players bring a knife and use the respawning pineapple found at the end of the course as food. At level 75 Agility, no obstacles will be failed. With few misclicks and no delays, this course takes about 45 seconds to complete which yields roughly 45,000 experience per hour.

If you cannot complete the Cold War quest – use the Barbarian Outpost or Ape Atoll course until level 52. Again, we use another strange training method. This will require partial completion of the Cold War quest, up until the point of crafting your first Clockwork Suit.
Silverhawk Boots can be purchased for free from the Oddments Store during certain promotions, obtained as a Treasure Hunter reward, or purchased for 750 Thaler (global minigame currency). These boots act as T1-T60 Hybrid armor, and can be filled with Silverhawk Feathers to receive Agility experience while performing other tasks.
The only exceptions are the Dorgesh-Kaan course & Brimhaven Agility Arena. It lasts for 20-40 minutes depending on the tier of the Aura.
